HOW TO CLEAN A WOOL FIBER PIECE |
|
Every piece made by John Gunther is made of high quality wool warn. You may get the fiber wet, but you must allow it to hang dry. Never put wool in a warm dryer, not even on a low setting. Every fiber piece has been gotten wet in the process of color dying the yarn. The dye is heat set so it won't rinse out. A Gunther Fiber Design will last for years to come. |

1. Get it Wet - we used our garden hose to thoroughly soak this rug. |

2. Use a rug foam cleaner IF necessary (pet spots and such). If the entire rug gets soiled, you can throw it into a tub of warm water with a little rug shampoo. Allow the dirt to flow out and away. Then rinse in the tub until your water is clear. Allow to drip dry in the tub until you can carry it outside to drip dry in the sun - about 1 full day of sun. |

Rinse thoroughly and allow to hang and drip dry for a day or two in bright sunny weather. You will be amazed at how well your piece looks after you have cleaned it especially if it's been on the floor for a few years, the colors pop back out!. Call for assistance. |
