Aluminum is a great medium to paint and weave. I paint two sheets of aluminum that are similar to each other. Then they are cut into strips and woven into one sheet. That sheet gets mounted onto a hardwood frame. Another set of aluminum strips are applied to each edge to give it a good finish. Now it is ready to hang.
